Research Focus: Chemistry and Biochemistry Education

Chemistry and Biochemistry Education Research at the University of Arizona seeks to better understand how students reason about chemical entities and process in diverse contexts, and use this information to devise curricula, instructional strategies, assessments, and interactive educational resources that can better foster student learning. We also use the results of our investigations to support the work of instructors, teaching assistants, and preceptors in the lecture and the laboratory.
